To start off I visit my sister and her family quite often. They live in a little town named Boonesboro that is in Maryland where I am from. My sister Debbie and I have the other sense so to speak. I know the spirits are there and so does she. The spirit of our deceased father appears to her often but never to me because of the simple fact he knows that it would give me a heartattack!! Her house sits on land that was once part of the civil war. She has seen a spirit many times that she has named George,that was a soldier in the war. She has described him to me as dressed in all blue and she could see clearly see his shiny buttons that went up the front of his jacket. He comes from somewhere on the side where my sister's bedroom is and walks across the doorway that attaches the kitchen and livingroom. I am very frightened in her house. Needless to say I still love to go there.I have never ssn this soldier and I hope I never do because I am very afraid! My niece Jessie sleeps downstairs in the built-in-basement,which is her room and also the computer room.I love to get on the internet and chat so I find myself down there alot in the daytime more often then night. At night is when it gets really eerie there. There is one incident that just happened recently that I want to tell you about, Jessie didn't come home this Thursday night that I had come up, usually I go there on Friday,Saturday,and Sunday's, but this time it was Thursday so she had no idea I was going to be there. I had did a little drinking so I thought I was Ms. Brave and went to go sleep down there all by myself....well, everything was ok until about 2:15am, something or someone woke me up. I dont know how but I woke up and I was so terrified! I heard whispering..alot of whispering. My eyes darted around the room and of course I didnt see anything but I could feel whatever it was. I seen where I put my purse and shoes and in my mind sketched the plan of how I was going to run to my shoes , grab my purse and run like hell up the basement steps...which I did. On the other side of the basement is where the washer/dryer and packed stuff is and also closet storage spaces. It is also the part where the spirits dwell. The spirits knocked a picture off the wall and placed in under the door that leads to that side of the basement. I never knew the picture was down there until Jess came home Friday night and picked it up and told me about it. It wasn't there earlier when I was doing hers and my laundry. I do my laundry everytime I go up there. So how it got there...we both already knew.I was scared to death! Jessie said she knows they are there but she doesnt let them frightened her. Another incident happened when Deb and Russell were home alone. Debbie said the neighbor Charlene called and told her the inside light on the roof of the car was on. Deb looked out and sure enough it was. Deb was in her PJ's so she just put on her robe and went out to try to turn it off..well it wasn't as easy as she thought it wa going to be! She struggled with the lightbulb until finaly she got it all the way out, it was so hot she put it in her robe pocket because It burned her hand and it was pitch black and couldnt see anything. While struggling with the light she said something slammed the car door with full force on her leg and hurt her. She managed to get her leg in the car before it shut all the way. She was spooked at this point, she got out of the car and got to the carport door and something told her to turn around and another light in the car on the floor was on!!! She got really scared by now and went in to wake Russell. He told her where to turn the switch off in the car and went back to sleep. Deb went back out and sure enough found the switch exactly where he said it would be and reached down and flicked it off. Where it was there was no way that her leg could of bumped it and flipped it on!!! She was scared, so she turned it off and quickly went inside. She later told me that whatever it was wanted her outside because it tried to hurt her. I have always heard that an evil spirit cant come in unless you invite them in, whether its true I dont know. I know when I go to Deb's house I get so scared especially at night. The family always teases me, especially Russell , but I know deep down inside he believes too.
