Now I have always had a thing against dolls, I think it may have been partly due to this but perhaps Childs Play didnt help a lot. Anyhow, call me paranoid but there is something about their eyes I just dont trust. Now this happened when I was 9 years old about a year after I got the doll which I had wanted for ages, and finally got for Christmas one year. Anyway I was pretty happy, she was one of those big dolls, stood about as tall as my shoulder and you could make her walk and her eyes open and shut when you laid her down or picked her up. Well I loved Curly Sue (go figure she would have to be given a weird name) for the whole of that first year but after that she started to freak me out. One thing I vividly remember was laying her down on my bed to go off to the toilet, I got back to my room and she was sitting on the floor (no not laying like she had fallen off the bed, SITTING). Even the dimest of kids knows that something isnt right when that happens. I let that go as you would when you are young and have a short attention span.

NOthing noteworthy happened for a while, but then about a month or two later when I was home with my older brother (why do things always happen when your parents are out?) I was playing with Sue in my brothers room when he decided to go for a walk to get something to eat from the service station down the road so I went to bed. About 5 minutes later i heard something move in the next room. Now my brothers room and mine shared an airconditioner through a gap in the top of one of the walls and i could hear something through the top that gap... Switching on the light I saw a plastic dolls arms stuck through the gap in the TOP of the wall... Though there was no desk uder that for ANYTHING to stand on... I thought it was my brother so i went into the next room... guess what? No one there but Curly Sue. My brother got back 20 minutes later and I was hysterical by this point. Anyway she is now locked up in the shed out the back and I am not game to check if she is still there.
